Conductive FIBC Type C & Type D: Explosion-Proof Ton Bags
Intrinsically safe bulk bags for flammable environments. IEC 61340-4-4 and ISO 21898 compliant.
Product Overview
Conductive FIBCs, also known as explosion-proof ton bags, are intrinsically safe bulk bags specifically designed for flammable and explosive environments. When loading fine chemical powders (carbon black, TiO₂, magnesium powder, aluminum powder) or flammable plastic granules, ordinary plastic bags generate static electricity through friction, which can cause dust explosions if discharged. Conductive FIBCs safely dissipate static electricity through conductive grids or anti-static fabrics, eliminating spark risks.

Safety Class Details
Type C (Conductive, Must Ground)
Woven with conductive yarn grids. All lifting loops and ground tabs electrically connected. Must be reliably grounded via grounding clamps. First choice for flammable/explosive environments.
Type D (Anti-static, No Ground Required)
Made from special anti-static fabric that slowly dissipates static without grounding. Suitable for environments where grounding is inconvenient or unstable, such as ships and mines.
Type B (Anti-static, No Ground)
Breakdown voltage <6kV, prevents brush discharges but lacks conductive function. Suitable for environments with some dust but lower explosion risk.
